The Rotary Club of Swarthmore is a community-service organization that brings people from all backgrounds together to solve our most pressing issues and strengthen our connections to each other.

The Rotary Club of Swarthmore was chartered on April 26, 1937 and has been serving the Swarthmore community and our neighbors for over 85 years!

A look at some of our past projects

$8500

We supported a grant to purchase library books for the Chester Upland School of the Arts

World of Work

We accompany Grade 5 students from Swarthmore Rutledge Elementary School to meet business owners in Swarthmore.

$1500

We raised $750 and added a matching grant from the District Gundaker Foundation to support the Delaware County Literacy Council

Swarthmore Rotary Fun Fair

We host the annual Swarthmore Fair and raise over $30,000 to support organizations in our area

Adopt-A-Highway

We complete spring and fall clean-ups along Yale Avenue to help reduce litter in our community
